On August 27, the people's Government of Suxian District held a project cooperation signing ceremony with Xiang Nan Jute &Sisal Products Ltd. Peng Shengzhi, Secretary of Suxian District Party committee; Li Hao, deputy secretary and chief of Suxian District Committee; Li Zhihong, Zhang Wandong, Wu Wenming, Li Jinshu, Yu mianxiu and Zhou Yong, leaders of Suxian District, attended the signing ceremony.

It is reported that Hunan Suxian industrial concentration zone has attracted the successful settlement of the project with its obvious location advantages, convenient transportation, sound supporting system, excellent policy environment and service platform. The project is expected to invest 400 million yuan, 200 mu of land for relocation, transformation and upgrading, further enhance the jute industry, expand the sisal industry, build new jute and sisal raw materials and products, activated carbon and other trade warehousing and logistics centers, new automatic machining plants, and new materials and new energy projects. After the completion of the project, it is expected to achieve an annual income of 500 million yuan and an annual profit and tax of more than 50 million yuan.
